Clean Fleet Report has been impressed with all Genesis models we have driven. The smile inducing silky power and torque was strong, especially in Sport mode, where we turned 0-60 mph times of about 4.9 The G90 has limited wind and road noise partly due to the low 0.27 But things are changing for them. The G90 did not disappoint.

As a test, part of those miles were driven with the cruise control set at 65 mph where we averaged 44 mpg, and at 60 mph resulting in 51.4 Fuel economy numbers reported by Clean Fleet Report are non-scientific and represent the reviewer’s driving experience using the dash gauge computer. Some good surprises on the road.

Genesis calls it the “G80 Electrified,” but instead of having it cast in with a bunch of hybrids and plug-in hybrids, we at Clean Fleet Report will simply call it as it is—the G80 EV. Genesis invited automotive media to Bentonville, Arkansas, to drive the G80 EV through the winding Ozark Mountain roads. Genesis adds an electric sedan.
