In 2012, nearly 80% of total investment in the global fuel cell industry was made in US companies. In general, the report finds, trends for the fuel cell industry were encouraging in 2012. There was a significant amount of merger and acquisition activity in the industry, suggesting that investors see opportunities in fuel cells.
