Fisker is a good example. The mines in Canada where the nickel & cadmium are mined is one of the most polluted places on Earth. Notice in [link] that GM carefully avoids claiming to reduce CO2 by shifting to the grid, but leads people off the track by focusing on smog related issues. Many others are not so careful.
