The EPA’s green scores on the standard 0-10 scale, where 10 is best, include a 7 for Smog, 7 for MPG the Fuel Economy score and a 9 for CO 2 on Greenhouse Gas score.

It gives you the chance for some seriously swift acceleration without making the fuel-economy sacrifices demanded of you by the bonkers 392. Your combined MPGe is 49, and your gas-only combined MPG is 20. But if you have the scratch and the access to juice, it makes a strong argument for itself. You don’t need the 4xe.

The juice is supplied by a 1.49 The entire package is well put together, balancing fun-to-drive, functionality, and fuel economy. That said, the Sportage Hybrid is fun-to-drive, fuel-efficient (38 mpg combined -- though I was seeing lower numbers. kWh lithium-ion battery. Acceleration is one thing, ride and handling are another.
