Hyundai’s first-ever pickup comes at a time where the Ford Maverick compact pickup is making waves of its own. The Ford Maverick is more truck-like, while the Hyundai Santa Cruz is more car-like. Offering the Santa Cruz as a hybrid would allow it to equal the Ford Maverick compact pickup for fuel efficiency.
