It is actually a quite fun car to drive. Having enough electric charge to last a 5-15 minute in silence in a traffic jam. Awesome, relaxing car to drive. We only drove ’normal’ ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) cars before but those gave me a feeling of always being in a hurry. Especially in the city.

Then towed the vehicle back to our hometown at the cost of $200 in rental and gasoline. 9/20/2011: Cleaned car. Got home too late to do anything but blog about my electric car! 9/19/2011: Bought 1993 Plymouth Laser for $300. 10 hours of work, $500 spent, starting weight of vehicle: 2531 pounds.

Ontario's Ban on Electric Cars. Yesterday (June 7, 2010), Electric Mobility Canada sent out an e-mail advising its Ontario members that MTO has lifted the ban, and has implemented an interim solution for the licensing of electric vehicle conversions. Powered exclusively by an electric battery. ? Thank you From.

The catalytic converter that keeps the ICE from being a gross polluter in conventional cars and hybrids however, isn't kept warm by the continual embrace of an ever-churning engine in a hybrid with all-electric range. A supplemental electric heater comes right to mind. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to offer solutions.
