The Ioniq Hybrid boasts the highest fuel economy in the US (up to 58 mpg) for a non-plug-in vehicle and the Ioniq Electric is the industry’s most efficient EV (136 mpge).

Volkswagen staged two world premieres at the Detroit Auto Show: the new Jetta gasoline-electric Hybrid and the E-Bugster battery-electric concept derived from the Beetle. Volkswagen calls the complete electric drive unit featured in the E-Bugster “Blue-e-Motion”. The central electric module of the E-Bugster weighs 80 kg.
