Kia lands Uber as its first major client for PBV ride-hailing

Kia has landed Uber as its first major client to take on the task of using its PBV, or Platform Beyond Vehicle, for ride-hailing. The PBV was unveiled this week at CES 2024, and Uber has agreed to use its mobility platform in conjunction with Kia’s new concept PV5, starting in 2025.
