Toyota Transport, the automaker’s in-house vehicle transportation trucking company, is using its first car hauler that runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). American Honda Motor has introduced a Class 8 hybrid diesel electric truck into its truck fleet at its parts center in Alpharetta, Ga—the first such in the auto industry. Honda uses Class 8 trucks to transport service parts between its parts centers and dealerships. Testing and evaluation will take place over the next year.
