Ford is now facing pushback from dealers in numerous states over its EV sales plan. Ford is revamping its EV sales model , and the first step in doing so is its “EV Certified” program. Connecticut isn’t the only area where Ford is facing backlash. Ford was not immediately available for comment to Teslarati.

Initially, there were legal questions about this method in Rhode Island, but attorneys for the Division of Motor Vehicles confirmed its legality.

17 States have filed a lawsuit with the Federal Court of Appeals, suing to prevent California from banning new ICE vehicle sales after 2035. California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) is expected to ban the sale of new ICE vehicles after 2035 tomorrow, but 17 State Attorney Generals have sued in federal court to block the move.
