Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with Telsa Motors to develop the electric B-Class.

The 3,800 team members, as Hyundai calls them, are building the all-new 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 that joins electric models of the GV60 EV and the Electrified G80 , both of which are assembled in South Korea. Both GV70s share a platform that was specifically designed for a gasoline engine and electric motors.

GM will introduce the Chevrolet Volt extended range electric vehicle with a starting MSRP of $41,000; after applying the Federal income tax credit of $7,500, the price drops to $33,500. The Volt has a total driving range of about 340 miles (547 km) and is powered by electricity at all times.

In Germany, renewable electricity generation will be 35 percent by 2020, and 50 percent by 2050. Why then do we not have the same clarity of goal for the electricity generating industry here in the USA? The governors of 8 states—California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont—have signed a memorandum of understanding ( MoU ) to take specific actions to put 3.3 US electric car sales in 2012 more than tripled to about 52,000 from 17,000 in 2011.
