BUZZ microbus concept into production. Volkswagen presented the concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January. BUZZ, which is built off the Modular Electric Drive kit (MEB). Just like the concept car that was shown in Detroit, the production model will also have its batteries mounted in the vehicle floor.

However, the all-electric minibus and van will launch with a high-voltage lithium-ion battery that provides up to (gross) 82 kWh (net: 77 kWh) of energy to a 150 kW electric motor.
