The revamp started with an updated tri-shield in June 2022, unveiling the stunning Wildcat EV concept. Ignoring the briefly popular commercial electrics around at the turn of the last century, EVs have been experimental concepts or limited edition runs until relatively recently. GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. Rivian will be delivering all-electric pickups and SUVs very soon.

To get there Honda, who has announced the Prologue SUV, has entered into a technical relationship with General Motors who will share their Ultium Platform , currently used on the Cadillac Lyriq , Chevrolet Blazer , the GMC Hummer and Hummer SUV, and the upcoming GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Equinox , Silverado and next generation Chevrolet Bolt.
