The Rasa uses a small 8.5kW fuel cell (the size currently used in forklift trucks, equivalent to 11 hp) to power the motors positioned in each of the four wheels. The arrival of the company’s Rasa engineering prototype in 2016, sees Riversimple take a hydrogen-powered commuter car from the laboratory to the road in only 8 years.

But what makes me fall in love with the vehicle is the width - at 1100 mm, it will be the narrowest car on Indian roads. But PMV, which stands for Personal Mobility Vehicles, will have to work hard to give a very car-like experience to the EaS-E , else it is doomed to meet the same fate as the Nano.

It makes a perfectly good second car, commuter car, or perhaps primary vehicle for a single driver or couple living in tight urban quarters. It powers an 87-kilowatt (117-horsepower) motor driving the front wheels, with quoted torque of 162 lb-ft. Rumors suggest it will. But for now, the 2024 500 is electric-only.

Hopefully the funding was from the same place as well… 2 Bill C said on March 13th, 2009 at 1:21 pm I think a few billion should be taken out of the Detroit bailout and give some capital to all of the electric car companies. The tango (commuter cars) says they only need 50 million to become profitable.
