Among liquid biofuels, ethanol is the most widely used for blending with petrol, while biodiesel and bio methanol are produced globally at a y lower scale. E10, which is a mixture of 10% ethanol and 90% petrol can be used in existing vehicles, without any need for modification. the GHG emissions are ~50% lower than that for petrol.

Go to petrol pump owners and find out who are people who are big time consumers. Much cheaper to manage demand than to manage supply. One idea would be to cater to the commercial segment. We realised that most Zeon customers are long distance road warriors. The minimum monthly fuel bill that they run up is Rs. 5,000 upwards.

Ive found it facinating how car commercials changed the main MPG number they promoted before gas went over $4 a gallon as city miles. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. It is 12 years later. The management at GM are liars. Now all you hear is highway miles.
