I mean, when the electricity it uses is produces, pollution still happens, just not "right from your car"? That being said, even a car that derives its energy from coal power plants would be far more clean. excluding coal power in china. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. So is the management in Washinton DC. Why should the government do it when the economy is weak.
