The true impact of electric vehicles should consider the make-up of the power grids where these cars will be used. There is significant cause vs. effect debate on CO2. The problem for the left is that NG is still a carbon based fuel (note: you are a carbon based lifeform and exhale 12 liters of CO2 a minute.). We have oil!

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not.
