KC Cottrell is currently in the construction phase of a pilot project that captures and purifies 1/2 tonne of CO 2 per day from an industrial power plant. ERC, Mantra’s CO 2 recycling technology, converts concentrated CO 2 into useful products such as formic acid.

The e-gas project consists of two main components: Audi is contributing to the construction of offshore North Sea wind turbines which will generate clean power,that is then fed into the public power grid. Audi wants to use green power to produce and also operate its electric-drive e-tron models in the future.

Yes, the electrical grids in many states in the US are still powered from coal, but with one exception (Colorado) people in those states simply buy very few electric vehicles. I expect that the states with greenest grids will also continue to adopt EVs at a faster rate than high coal powered grid states.
