As gas engine powertrains typically have 100 times the number of parts of an EV powertrain, I have only paid $300 for maintenance: comprising three tire rotations and one cabin air filter, after four years of ownership. My EV battery is warrantied for a minimum of 100K miles and eight years. There is so much to love about driving electric!

This plan fell through when E-Car Club sent me an email saying all of the Auris they had were going to be taken for maintenance checks so I couldn’t use them. I decided to “Google it” but to no avail. It felt natural to drive and the brakes were much less sensitive than the Zoe which I liked. How do I drive this thing?!!

Followed Google Maps to hit Hosur road - and from then on the Maps was switched off. Throw in costs of the driver, electricity and maintenance, that would mean a minimum revenue required of Rs. We switched on Google Maps and left for Ooty. Jayram works with Google and has been staying at Seattle for two decades before that.

The customer will only pay a monthly fee about $240 (US Dollars) which includes a full maintenance service agreement; carbon offset payments and in some countries even all electricity used, and insurance. I don’t just drive to work everyday with nothing more than a bag of golf clubs like the TV ads profess Californians are doing.
