California EV Incentives Clean Vehicle Rebate Program (CVRP) On the state level, California has a number of programs aimed at incentivizing EV purchases. Qualified residents can receive grants of up to $5,000 in buy-down assistance and special financing, plus free vehicle charging and installation.

The Maserati Ghibli Trofeo drew stares, which is saying something in car-crazy Southern California, where every exotic is roaming free on the highways and can be found tucked away behind gates in tony neighborhoods. Clean Fleet Report’s 2022 Trofeo had $25,000 in options, bringing the total to $148,495. Trofeo means trophy in Italian.

It’s because all the buses and generators involved in the Fiesta will be fueled with clean-burning biodiesel, made from used vegetable oil donated by local restaurants Patrick Molloy’s, Sangria, and Café Boogaloo. And not just from the look of those tourists who force feed themselves too much kettle korn. Bravo, Mr. Montgomery.

The Torrance Hillside Overlay district , covers most of the historic Hollywood Riviera neighborhood where the Creative Greenius lives and I can tell you that it’s a zoning law that is pure politics. He wasn’t a finance guy, thinking “I’m going to make money.” It’s expensive and my clients don’t finance. He was a geek.

We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. SOLAR FINANCING – WHO GETS IT AND WHO DOESN’T. SOLAR FINANCING – WHO GETS IT AND WHO DOESN’T. The loans are financed through the sale of assessment district bonds.

My new solar system only needs to be 2 kilowatts now instead of 4 – which is good because solar’s still too damn expensive and the process for putting AB 811 financing in place is taking too damn long, (and that’s another Greenius post that I’m still working on).
