At the Chicago Auto Show, Hyundai introduced its new 2020 Sonata Hybrid, featuring up to 686 miles of driving range and an EPA-estimated 52 mpg combined fuel economy rating on the Blue trim. Hyundai unveiled the redesigned 2018 Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid models at the Chicago Auto Show. Sonata Hybrid SE has preliminary internal estimates of 39 mpg (6.03 l/100 km) in the city, 45 mpg (5.22 l/100 km) on the highway and 42 mpg (5.6 km), and it can recharge in less than three hours with a level-two charger.
