The battery electric Chevrolet Silverado EV full-size pick-up is not under consideration for Australia sale. The shock news was confirmed to EV Central at this month’s 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD launch by Jess Bala, Managing Director of Chevrolet’s local outpost GM Australia and New Zealand.

UPS announced an update to 125 Workhorse E-GEN series hybrid electric delivery trucks that improve fuel economy as part of the company’s broader Rolling Laboratory approach. 4-cylinder engine; charging capability remains the same, as does the electric range. The smaller engine will improve fuel economy, however.

Chevrolet Sales Thailand introduced the new-generation MY14 Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine in 2.5- The new EGR system decreases NO x emissions by reducing charge temperature and reducing excess levels of O 2 in the combustion chamber. The second generation engine offers better fuel economy, performance and lower emissions.

Overall the engineering team increased efficiency and reduced weight; the drive unit is up to 12% more efficient in operation—although GM has yet to quantify publicly what that means in terms of range or fuel economy—and 100 lbs (45 kg) lighter. We also made some changes on the graphite side to improve performance and life.
