HEVs and mild-hybrids are offered by manufacturers as a quick and relatively cheap way (especially in the case of mild hybrids) to improve fleet emissions, compared to ICE-only vehicles. Being a similar size and shape to the very popular Kia Niro, the Atto 3 has every chance of eventual success in the UK market.

Kia Niro EV review: It was only in 2021 that Kia introduced the Niro nameplate to Australia. Instead, it was more about dipping a toe in the electrified water and getting the Kia dealer network ready or the EV onslaught. Kia Niro EV GT-Line interior. The Model Y is not the best driving EV of 2022 (it’s still comfortably outdone by the Kia EV6 and the Tesla Model 3 is nicer to drive, too) or the most daring (I’d stick the Genesis GV60 high on that list).
