Ford is boosting the on-road fuel economy performance of its 2013 model year hybrid vehicles in the US and Canada. Starting in August, the company will make calibration updates for owners at dealerships designed to improve on-road fuel economy of the 2013 Ford C-MAX Hybrid, 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid and 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid.

The city and highway fuel economy ratings for the new Ford Police Interceptors (PI) have increased by 25% over the retired Crown Victoria. A recent study of police car use in Ottawa, Canada, showed the average police vehicle idles for up to 6.7 Fuel economy test results from the LA Sheriff’s Department 2012 evaluations.

With a new design and built on a new platform, the 2023 Honda HR-V continues to be a good value with a roomy interior and 30+ mpg. Running on 87 octane, the EPA rates the HR-V AWD at 25 mpg city/30 highway/27 combined. If opting for the front-wheel drive HR-V, the fuel economy numbers are 26/32/28.
