The booking can only be done through the website, but the experience has to be taken at the dealership. You cannot book the vehicle at the dealership - for that you have to go Ather or Chetak style - online. I was not happy with Ola’s response to the online test ride booking request. Let’s assume that the on-road price of a Petrol Scooter is 96,000 (Ex-showroom + Registration + Insurance) and Ather 450X costs 1,73,100 in Kerala. Another interesting thing is that I need not go to the petrol pumps to fill the fuel.

Of course in the current era of 2w there is no point buying a petrol 2w it just doesn’t makes sense, with so many EV options. Current premium 2w EV's, give a tough fight to 125-150 Cc Petrol motorcycles. I had been following Ather from its inception, booked 450 X, even attended the Ather 450X launch in New Delhi 2020.

Avoid buying EV's from such companies. I will only buy a small electric car that costs less than Rs 6-7 lakhs. Electric Scooter prices are competitive compared to petrol scooters. And if you are spending more than 10 lakhs on a petrol or diesel car, you need to get your head examined or read up on EV's.
