Like a petulant child who won’t share their toys, Ford has released a handy smartphone app filled with crowd-sourced and professionally curated tools such as trail maps for off-road journeys – but the only ones who can use it are Bronco owners. The Bronco Trail App is available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. The easiest conversions are for 2004-2008 Prius (not 2001-2003 Prius) and the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner Hybrid. Both Toyota and Ford are now producing a few prototype conversions of their own Priuses and Escapes for research purposes.)

He tells me that PPG originally developed the Electro Deposition technology for Henry Ford’s Model T. We switched on Google Maps and left for Ooty.
