Telefonica will provide Machine-To-Machine (M2M) connectivity for the Tesla Model S in Europe. The agreement, which establishes Telefonica as Tesla’s largest European connectivity partner, is supported by KPN in the Netherlands and Belgium as part of the M2M World Alliance, simplifying Tesla’s deployment of connected cars.

Polestar says that the new Polestar 2 is the first electric car to compete in the marketplace around the Tesla Model 3, with the range starting at a guide price of €39,900 (US$45,177). Like a Tesla, the electric Volvo doesn’t need a button or key to start. It senses the fob, and it powers up when the driver sits down.
