We chatted up with Jayasuriya, the state head of TML for Electric Vehicle sales. The good news that Jayasuriya shared was that production is being ramped up - and can touch more than 2,000 vehicles a month soon. There is a backlog of more than 800 Tata E vehicle customers, waiting for delivery, in Karnataka alone.
