The nonprofit CalCars does conversions to demonstrate new designs and provide a platform for different batteries; we dont sell conversions. They are early adopters, buying "Version 1.0"

In the Aluminum the most challenging part is going to be the battery cover, which is going to have fins. Oben is assembling their own battery packs - and it was heartening to know that they are taking the LFP route, albeit with cylindrical cells. Much cheaper to manage demand than to manage supply. Or about 6 to 8 hours a day.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
