The analysis indicated that electrified fleets had 40-45% lower greenhouse gas costs per trip compared to the gasoline-powered version.

In simple terms, unlike a BEV(Battery electric vehicle), which requires external charging, a fuel-cell electric vehicle generates its own electricity.

This renewable production capacity is increasingly important to ensure the existing power grid can accept more renewable sources. However, hydrogen is no more or less dangerous than other flammable fuels or the batteries used in electric cars, and vehicles with pressure gas storage tanks are nothing new.
