EMT, the public bus operator in the City of Madrid, has ordered 60 Urbino 12 electric buses from Solaris, featuring high energy batteries and pantograph charging which will ensure high operability in all kinds of conditions. Batteries can be recharged by means of an inverted pantograph, or conventionally via a standard plug-in connector.

The batteries of Vito E-CELL vans are recharged at these locations outside of operating hours. The charge level of the batteries is a key indicator of range. 11 seconds.
