It can be difficult to switch to green vehicles in this market, but not impossible as there are a record number of EV models available to order, and thousands of used EVs available across the country. . Dealerships across the country still have vehicles available on their lots and update their websites daily.

These vehicles take currently available gasoline-hybrid vehicles to the next level, allowing drivers to plug them in for a few hours to charge the batteries and then drive emissions free solely on electric power for 35-60 miles. The cost of charging the battery of a PHEV is estimated to be just 50-75 cents per gallon equivalent.

Everything needed is available: the power trains, the gasoline engines, the computer systems, electric motors and batteries.
