The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the availability of $26 million in grant funding to establish clean diesel projects aimed at reducing emissions from the US’ existing fleet of diesel engines. Region 7 (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska): EPA is requesting proposals between $300,000 and $1,500,000.

Thanks to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act’s (IIJA), there is $5 billion available in funding for clean school buses.

The upgrade will increase the availability of Redeem at the nation’s largest alternative fuel station in America’s largest port complex. Clean Energy announced last week that trucking fleets that operate in the ports are taking delivery of additional clean heavy-duty trucks. The KCATA has a total of 128 CNG buses in its fleet.

Joseph, Missouri, Gevo is demonstrating the viability of its technology for retrofitting existing ethanol plants to make biobutanol. Gevo’s technology also enables using the biobutanol for the production of renewable hydrocarbons such as isooctene and isooctane for the gasoline market, renewable jet fuel and renewable diesel blendstocks.
