Continental plans to invest more than $35 million in its Henderson, North Carolina facility to meet the increased demand for Electronic Integrated Parking Brakes (e-IPB). Due to the increasing demand for brake calipers throughout North America, the Henderson plant produced a record-breaking seven million calipers in 2012.

Production of the new VTEC Turbo engines will begin later this year at Honda’s Anna, Ohio, engine plant, the largest automobile engine plant in Honda’s global production network. Before the end of the year, Honda will begin to introduce new 4-cylinder VTEC Turbo engines, extending its Earth Dreams Technology powertrain lineup.
