General Motors Corp. and Koenigsegg Group AB, a consortium led by Koenigsegg Automotive AB, confirmed the details of a memorandum of understanding for the purchase of Saab Automobile AB. Additional support is to be provided by GM and Koenigsegg Group AB to fund Saab’s operations and product program investments.

The only upgrade is the Plaid version that features even faster acceleration from three motors, producing sub-two second 0-60 runs. Production of the Roadster, the company’s initial product, ended after deliveries totaling 2,500, but a new version of the Roadster is due at some point. We’ve tested most of those.

The Hyperbrake can be utilized in any hydraulic system, according to Janel Hydro, and is being used on several experimental automobiles. We will now move forward identifying potential development partners to work with us in bringing this product to the automotive, heavy equipment, aviation and other markets with hydraulic applications.

In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. Weve kept the summary table below generally up-to-date for passenger PHEVs, but not for BEVs, motorcycles or larger vehicles like buses and trucks. Showed BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS series PHEV concept in December 08. Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs.
