Honda unveiled the new 10th-generation 2016 Civic Sedan, slated for sale in the US this fall. Both engines are targeted to receive EPA highway fuel economy ratings in excess of 40 mpg. Civic Sedans for the North American market will be produced at the company’s Greensburg, Indiana and Alliston, Ontario, Canada auto plants.

At a media briefing at Auto China 2010, Stefan Magirius, president GKN China, said that the company will break ground this month for a new manufacturing facility in Changchun in northeast China. Magirius reported that GKN also is developing a new line of low-cost driveline products for vehicles built by domestic automakers for sale in China.
