Last week, Elon Musk announced Tesla’s first involvement in a major housing development project in Austin, Texas. Easton Park is a 2,400-acre community southwest of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, as per the Austin Business Journal. Tesla Energy takes a stand against coal and gas generators in Australia.

However, building more coal and gas power plants to make miles for transport is counter-productive if the game plan is to reduce carbon output. At that rate, the cost to operate an electric vehicle is 2 cents per mile. Unfortunately, they don’t.
