The 15 universities competing in EcoCAR 2 gathered in Yuma, Arizona last week for six days of vehicle testing and evaluation on drive quality and environmental impact at General Motors (GM) Desert Proving Ground. The Penn State University Advanced Vehicle Team (PSU AVT) designed a series plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) fueled with E85.

It initiated the start of the "Plug-in Arizona Educational Tour" for educating one AZ County at a time! Plug-ins can be moving the USA to regain its energy independence with good ole homegrown American, if not Arizona solar, electrons! A plug and a pack can make a car a 101 MPG vehicle aided by electricity. !
