The EPA rates fuel economy, when using the hybrid gasoline-only engine at 30 miles per gallon. This is excellent fuel economy for a 5,010-pound nicely styled shoe box. Conversely, when on the highway, having the option to turn off the EV mode and run the gasoline hybrid motor will return the most efficient driving.

We tried it and it works, but needing this technology is another conversation for another day. The all-wheel steering and Crab Walk could come in handy when trying to slip into a tight parking spot at the store, so don’t shy away from using it. At the least, find an empty parking lot and experiment with Crab Walk to see what it can do.
