Clean Energy Fuels Corp delivered 143 million gallons of Redeem Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) last year as robust sales of the carbon-neutral transportation fuel continued in 2019, closing out the year with significant deals throughout North America. In 2019 Clean Energy provided an estimated 16 million gallons of Redeem to UPS.

UPS has entered into an agreement to purchase renewable natural gas (RNG) for its delivery vehicle fleet from Clean Energy Fuels Corp. RNG (biomethane) can be derived from many abundant and renewable sources, including decomposing organic waste in landfills, wastewater treatment and agriculture. UPS and Clean Energy Fuels Corp.

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. Clean Energy has begun a major fueling infrastructure upgrade for trucks operating in the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach. The upgrade will increase the availability of Redeem at the nation’s largest alternative fuel station in America’s largest port complex.
