Kelley Blue Book: average new-vehicle prices in US up 5.4% in May y-o-y; average EV price down 10.8%

The estimated average transaction price for a light vehicle in the United States was $41,263 in May 2021, according to the analysts at Kelley Blue Book. New-vehicle prices increased $2,125 (up 5.4%) from May 2020, while increasing $493 (up 1.2%) from April 2021. from May 2020 to May 2021, from $58,863 down to $52,486.

FPL Group and Duke Energy Pledge 10-year, $600M+ Commitment to Transition Fleets to PHEVs and EVs

Duke Energy and FPL Group will begin this transition in the coming years with the goal that 100% of all new fleet vehicles will be plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) by 2020.
