Starting immediately, Deutsche Post is offsetting any unavoidable CO 2 emissions due to mail transport with investments in internationally recognized and certified climate protection projects at no extra charge. For the last ten years, DHL has transported all parcels for private customers with its climate-friendly “GoGreen” service.

After the first two LNG car carriers entered service in 2020, Volkswagen Group Logistics has now ordered four more ships with dual-fuel engines that can be powered with LNG. On the return trip, the LNG ships will transport new vehicles destined for Europe. Only unavoidable emissions are offset by climate protection measures.

Daimler Trucks & Buses, one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, aims to offer only new vehicles that are CO 2 -neutral in driving operation (“tank-to-wheel”) in the triad markets of Europe, Japan and NAFTA by 2039. In addition, all European Daimler Trucks & Buses plants will be CO 2 -neutral by the year 2022.
