Metropole Rennes to buy 92 electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses

The Metropole Rennes has signed a declaration of intention to buy 92 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro fully electric city buses. This marks the largest order outside of Germany for the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro since production began. Mercedes-Benz introduced the eCitaro in 2018 with fully-electric drive.

Mercedes-Benz Cars lays foundation for a battery factory at the Untertürkheim site

Daimler Truck and CATL expand global partnership on truck-focused batteries and supply

CATL will be the supplier of lithium-ion battery packs for the Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul battery-electric truck, which is planned to be ready for series production in 2024.
