Mayor of London floats action plan to reduce city’s air pollution

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has outlined plans to crackdown on the most polluting vehicles, including an additional £10 (US$13) per day charge for the most polluting vehicles and an extended Ultra-Low Emission Zone. A more detailed consultation will take place later this year and some measures could be implemented as early as 2017.
