Significant Price Reduction Repositions Entry-Level EV. Chevrolet announced this week that its 2023 Bolt EV and Bolt EUV are going to get major drops in price. The new 2023 pricing (2022 pricing in parenthesis) includes the mandatory $995 destination fee. Same car, less cost. Same car, less cost. But it is more than that.

2024 Cadillac Lyriq Sport trim (Source: Cadillac) General Motors is banking that Europeans will want an American-made $93,000 SUV that has zero emissions – but the US brand has had plenty of trouble getting production off the ground on its home turf. Last year, Cadillac delivered 9,000 Lyriqs, with fewer than 2,400 in the first half.

GM announced that late in 2016 it will add a fleet of 2017 Chevrolet Volts designed to drive autonomously within its renovated Warren Technical Center campus. GM has been testing its “Super Cruise” autonomous driving technology since 2012, and confirmed today the feature will be available in the 2017 Cadillac CT6. eBike Concept.

GM’s signature EV now is the Chevrolet Bolt EV , another new name, which arrived as a 2017 model and promptly won Motor Trend ’s Car of the Year award.
