Headquartered in Munich, VoltStorage was founded in 2016 by Jakob Bitner, Michael Peither and Felix Kiefl. In addition, the international research and development team is working on the low-cost iron-salt battery, the properties of which make it particularly suitable for ensuring base load capability for wind and solar farms.

About a quarter of Amsterdam’s surface area is water, with 165 canals winding alongside busy city streets. In 2016, MIT researchers tested a roboat prototype that cruised around Amsterdam’s canals, moving forward, backward, and laterally along a preprogrammed path. Using that information, the roboat steers itself toward the tag.

The zippy linier acceleration helps the Rio get around town, but the low horsepower and torque have their upside limits. Drivetrain.
