Disneyland will replace gasoline vehicles at its Autopia ride with EVs in 2026, the Los Angeles Times confirmed this week. The groups drawing attention to the disparities in recent weeks and encouraging the shift to electric are planning a Sunday morning (10 a.m.) Since 2016, the attraction has been sponsored by Honda.

Late Thursday, those activists got their wish , and Disney announced that it would go all-electric with the ride within the next 30 months. At first, Disney’s statement sounded a little noncommittal and open – they didn’t state a specific timeline, nor specify that the ride would be all-electric.

The news was reported in many outlets suggesting that Disney is going all-electric with Autopia, but unfortunately, Disney’s statement is a little noncommittal and open on that front. Until 2016, Autopia vehicles were noisy, polluting two-stroke engines. 2016 was also notably after EVs had proven themselves in the automotive realm.

Among the multiple applications for different processing pathways of corn or sorghum ethanol are four pathways from LytEn for hydrogen produced from biomethane; four pathways for renewable gasoline and diesel produced from tree residue from Ensyn; and one application for cellulosic ethanol using corn stover feedstock from POET. gCO 2 e/MJ.
