AUDI AG, the BMW Group and Daimler AG have agreed with Nokia Corporation that they will acquire its mapping and location services business HERE. Subject to the approval of the relevant antitrust authorities, the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2016.

Based on these requirements, ARB expects reflective glazing to be installed on windshields in 2012 and on all windows in 2016, unless automobile manufacturers decide to use an alternate performance option for 2016 and beyond. ARB tested manufacturer-installed reflective windows in vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, BMW and GM.
