H2 Logic A/S and Air Liquide have concluded a joint investment in their joint venture hydrogen fuel company, Copenhagen Hydrogen Network A/S (CHN). US-based Proton OnSite has been chosen to install an on-site hydrogen generator at one of the first hydrogen fuel cell stations in Germany’s new nationwide H 2 Mobility refueling network. The PEM electrolyzer will be partially powered by renewable energy sources and is expected to be in operation in late summer or early Fall.

Following the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany and Belgium, Norway is the 5 th European country to start selling the fuel cell sedan. Uno-X Hydrogen, a newly established joint-venture that plans to establish a 20-station hydrogen network by 2020 in Norway, is the first customer in that country to take ownership of the Toyota Mirai.

Denmark-based shipping company MHO-Co is heading a consortium that will spend €4.5 Together with Aalborg University, among others, and with grants from the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program (EUDP), MHO-Co will test fuel cells and new battery technology on the shipping company's advanced hybrid vessels.

Toyota will launch the Mirai fuel cell vehicle in Sweden and Norway this summer, following other European countries that have introduced the Toyota Mirai in 2015 (UK, Germany and Denmark) or early 2016 (Belgium). The Mirai launched in Japan in December 2014 and in the US in 2015. The Netherlands will follow later this year.

In December 2012, Hyundai will begin production of the ix35 Fuel Cell crossover vehicle at its Ulsan manufacturing facility in Korea, with a target of building up to 1,000 vehicles by 2015.
