The way cars are used here, the ways in which cars interact with the environment, the way in which human beings reside in urban centers in China are profoundly going to seed the development of the auto industry in every other part of the world. In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. Ford Escape PHEV-40 around 2012. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. Mazda Ford Partner was reported to be developing Series PHEV based on Mazda 5 MPV platform.
